Scrappin' Saturday - It's A Man's World

Hi Everyone!  Susie Craft Happy here and welcome to a very handsome 
Scrappin' Saturday!  

Challenge #144 - It's A Man's World!!  

We asked you to create a masculine project or card and you all have done just that! It's been said that it's tough to find masculine papers, embellishments and sometime images to create a great masculine scrapbook layout or card, well if you're in this wondering group...this week you're in luck!  

Check out Rockin' Renee over at I Came, I Saw, I Created blog where she's created this great Father's Day layout!  She used two different Cricut cartridges here, Batman and Father's Day Seasonal.

On the heels of our challenge Cricut has introduced it's latest Everyday Cartridge, Outdoor Man! How fantabulous is that!  Here are a few images from Cricut's website for those of you that haven't seen it yet.


There's some really great images on this cartridge and I see opportunities for home decor in some of these images too!  "Got Vinyl!!" Be sure to visit Cricut's website to learn more about this cartridge and see the great projects their creative team has created using this awesome new cartridge!

Finally I want to remind you that creating masculine scrapbook layouts can be made easier with these tips I found over on Scrapbooking 101's website:  
 - Don't be afriad to use ribbon, avoid bows and tie knots instead
 - Use flowers, but in masculine colors such as red, navy and rust
