Spotlight Sunday

Happy Sunday You All!

Today we are meeting Just ANutter Paper Crafter!  Ha! Now if that is not a great blog title, I don't know what is, especially since this lovely crafter's name is Michelle Nutter!  She is one busy and very talented beagle lovin' lady that does not let grass grow under her feet.  She can be found wearing many creative hats from helping her husband with their classic car collection, refurbishing old furniture and of course paper crafting which recently landed her a spot on the Top 5 with this great card!

Since we just kicked the week off with April Fools jokes, let's finish out the week sharing a couple of super witty joke cards I spotted of hers!

Now let's meet this "Just ANutter Paper Crafter!

1. When did you start scrap booking/paper crafting and why?
I got started with Creative Memories probably 10 or 15 years ago to scrapbook my husbands sprint car racing. I still haven't got all of the memorabilia into the albums! Then about 3-4 years ago I wanted to use up my scraps from scrapbooking and I started making cards to sell as a fundraiser for Sparrow clubs-it all snowballed from there!

2. What is your favorite type of project to make?
I love to make cards. Now my friends and family get disappointed if they receive a "store bought" card! It's also one of my favorite gifts to give-a dozen cards of various themes (Thank You, Wedding, Sympathy, etc) in a gorgeous reusable box. And I still scrapbook and make home decor items.

3. What is your favorite product to use for your projects?
I really don't have a favorite product. I actually try to rotate different embellishments so all my cards don't look the same. I use ribbon, brads, twines, buttons, flowers, machine stitching, pop dots, burlap, etc! My blog doesn't show it all, because it seems if I make some really great cards, I need a dozen for a gift!

4. What is your favorite Cricut cartridge?
I counted my cartridges-I have over 70! I use them ALL. Some I use more than others-Damask Decor, Paper Pups, Plantin Schoolbook, Walk in My Garden, Flower Shoppe.

5. What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?
Spare time….I sew, read, upholstery, and refurbish furniture. I work on our classic car collection-not turning a wrench, usually tracking down parts & pieces! I will recover the seats if I have to. I even help a friend show her Murray Gray Cattle at various fairs and specialty shows. I don't think I sit around bored-there's always something to create!

While perusing her blog, I found some pretty fun projects she posted. Here is just a sample of some of the creative and inspiring projects that just popped off the page!

Just ANutter Paper Crafter is just a joy to visit.  Her creativity is beyond original  Be sure head over and check out this fantastic BLOG and be inspired! Before I sign off, I must leave you with this A-M-A-Z-I-N-G project I found.  I tend to be partial to anything that revolves around Paris (I love that city and I feel I have left a part of my heart there when I vacationed there 7 years ago), so finding this card just had me in awe! The creativity displayed and how she used the different cuts to pull this together is just plain genius!

Until Next Week!
