Quick Tip Tuesday

Hello again! It's Angie from Angie's Paper Passion with another quick tip.
Are you using the Cricut Craft Room yet? I absolutely love using CCR! If I have ideas for projects to make I will usually go into my CCR and play with different carts and images until I am happy with a final design. Many times I'll design a few projects at one time. Then I save my projects and when I have that special (but limited) "craft" time, instead of trying to decide what to make all I need to do is hook my Expression to my laptop, open my files, grab my paper, and start cutting! To me this saves time and I don't waste my precious crafting time trying to come up with a plan.

Another great tip about the Craft Room is that PC gives us files, images, and sometimes a whole cartridge to play and cut with for free! This past week. for example, it's a Forever Frame project. This should change by tomorrow with a new 'Freebie". But if you go into your CCR on your computer and look under 'My Cartridges', you may see other images that are free to use for a limited time. I check often because I don't hear about them all and many times I have been pleasantly surprised by something new! A few weeks ago, I found Paper Dolls Teen Scene (the entire cartridge!) under 'My Cartridges'! I really enjoyed that one because I had been on the fence about buying it. The same thing happened with Art Deco.
(Now I know that I NEED that cart! lol!)
As I type this, there are about 5 different Father's Day cards available along with a Love Mini Book, the Forever Frame, and a brand new font cartridge that has not been released yet, Chalkboard Fonts, along with a design contest!

Great Font!

And if you want to learn more about Cricut Craft Room go visit Narelle and Scrapalette's blog, The Cricut Craft Room Blog! You'll find so much information like Getting Started, The Basics, and The Nitty Gritty. There are also projects, videos, and tutorials to help you along the way.

So give CCR a try and let me know if you like it and why!
Thanks for visiting this week and don't forget to come back tomorrow for Wednesday's Winners!
Until next time, Happy Crafting,
