Quick Tip Tuesday

Good morning everyone!   I just wanted to take a few minutes and talk about the Cricut tools.  For me the number one tool is the spatula. I use this tool more than all the other tools combined.  My spatula gets pretty sticky from the mat residue.  So my tip today is to use a product called Goo Gone! It is fabulous and removes the stickiness with very little effort.  I also put a dab on a paper towel and clean the mat roller wheels in the machine.  Hope this helps! Happy Crafting Pam

Spotlight Sunday

Our Spotlight Sunday has come to an end for this week. Today we say goodbye to Diana from DL.ART . Before she leaves, Diana gave us one last inspirational project, and a few thoughts on being a guest Designer!

This is Diana M. Larson from DL.ART just to say it has been a wonderful week being the guest designer at FCCB. Thank you so much for inviting me. I really enjoyed being part of the team and sharing what I do and love with all the friends over here that are incredible designers, artists and paper crafter’s  and all my new and old friends that came to visit.  When I am not scrapbooking, making cards, 3-D projects or creating other art you can find me at church, the gym or at our local art or scrapbook store.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my projects over here at FCCB, if you would like to see more of them please be sure and visit my blog at http://dianamlarson.blogspot.com.

Before I leave, I would like to share a final project with you.

Here is a close up:

I had so much fun making this. I used the following circuit and imagine cartridges, “Love you a Latte”, “Heirloom” and “Blast Off”.  If you would like to know more about, this card and any of my other cards, please visit my blog for all the details.  If you would like to purchase the card, come by my ETSY store.
Thanks for stopping by.

 DIANA L.

It has been a pleasure working with Diana and seeing all her beautiful projects. Keep submitting your projects in our challenges-who knows, maybe you'll be our next designer!

FCCB Fantabulous Friday #203: Bye Bye Birdie

Happy Friday everyone.  This week our challenge is Bye Bye Birdie.  This week I'd like to showcase some cute cards using different bird Cricut Cuts.
The first card is by June over at Simply Elegant Paper Crafts who made this beautiful birds and cage card using the Cricut Sophie cartridge. I love the colors and the birds in that cage.
The next card is from Carolyn at Carolyn's Crafty Corner who used the 3 Birds on Parade Cricut Cartridge. I love the variety on this card.

Next,Amy from Scrapping Mommy gives us a soft, simple but beautiful bird card using the Straight from the Next Cricut Cartridge.

The last card is from Robyn, at My Pink Stamper who made this beautiful card from the Hoot N' Holler Cricut Lite Cartridge.
In case you need some inspiration from some Cartridges, here are some that have some adorable "Bird" cuts on them...

Quick Tip Tuesday

It's time for a quick tip!  I find when making cards that I sometimes get in a rut with the overall design or sketch.  I have found a couple of really good sketch sites that help with getting the mojo moving again. My first site in SplitCoastStampers Master Sketch Gallery

My second site is Deconstructing Jen
Both of these sites are fantastic for trying out some new card designs!
Happy Crafting
